In accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act, the dates listed above are the regularly scheduled meetings or committee meetings of the Board of Directors of Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association (NSSRA). The Association is an extension of ten park districts, two cities and one village in the northern suburbs of Chicago. NSSRA provides and facilitates year-round recreation programs and services for children and adults with disabilities who live in the partner communities.

The meetings are open to the public. For all meetings, individuals requiring a reasonable accommodation to attend or participate in the meetings should contact Craig Culp, Executive Director at least 48 hours before the meetings by phone at (847) 509-9400 or by email at cculp@nssra.orgClick here to read NSSRA’s policy regarding public participation at board meetings.

Update as of July 7, 2020: In accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act and in light of the Governor’s most recent Disaster Declaration, I have determined that fully in-person meetings conducted under the Open Meetings Act are not practical or prudent because of the current pandemic disaster. Accordingly, NSSRA Board meetings may still be conducted by audio or video conference without the physical presence of a quorum. – Kris Ford, Board Chair
