Trips
NSSRA wants to give participants the independence of being away from home and experiencing new and exciting things. NSSRA participants are accompanied by qualified staff who have been properly trained to handle any situation.
Some of our most recent trips include the Adaptive Sports Center in Colorado, Camp Wigwam in Maine, and Camp Duncan in Ingleside, Illinois. Recent short trips include unique destinations, including Madison, Wisconsin, and South Bend, Indiana, with stops at the zoo and museums.

A few things you should know:
- First-time participants are required to take a short 2-3 day trip to allow for the participant to get comfortable being independent and away from home. This also allows staff to evaluate readiness for a longer trip.
