Recreational Therapy Month Staff Spotlight – Dylan Sams

We are keen to spotlight Dylan Sams! You might recognize Dylan if you have been to a Gator game or an NSSRA trip.

Dylan comes to us from the University of Iowa, where he recently graduated in Therapeutic Recreation. Outside of work (or maybe at work), you might find Dylan enjoying weightlifting, playing different sports, watching movies, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family, which includes three brothers! A few random facts about Dylan are that he had open-heart surgery when he was three years old, and he can juggle.

We asked Dylan about his favorite memory during his time with NSSRA, and he raved about his week at camp Wigwam, where he got to spend time with participants while doing all sorts of activities at camp.

Dylan is has a great energy and brings out the best in all of our participants! Thank you for all your hard work and commitment to therapeutic recreation!
