Recreational Therapy Month Staff Spotlight – Dani Czarnik

Dani Czarnik

February is National Recreational Therapy month! Join us to celebrate all month long and learn more about our incredible staff.

Today we meet Dani Czarnik! Dani grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago with three younger brothers. She now lives in Chicago with her husband and their little French Bulldog, Kona. Dani loves to spend time with family and friends, read, be in the sun, and listen to music in her free time.

Dani started her career with NSSRA shortly after attending Indiana University and has been with the organization for almost seven years! When asked what her favorite memory has been, Dani recalled too many to count but had a tie between two favorites. Her first was coaching Gator Golfers and helping Miguel take home a state medal. Her other significant memory was getting to travel to Maine with multiple groups of participants over the years! Dani enjoys being in the great outdoors with NSSRA participants and exploring new challenges such as climbing a mountain, gazing into the starry night, telling stories around the campfire, archery, tubing, and fishing.

Thank you, Dani, for your continued commitment to NSSRA and all of our participants!
