It was a dazzling evening of dancing and celebration on April 29 when nearly 350 participants, family members, staff, board members, supporters and partners came together at the Highland Park Country Club for Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association’s Shining Stars Awards & Recognition Banquet.

This annual gathering gives NSSRA an opportunity to recognize those outstanding participants, coaches, advocates, partners, community members and friends who have truly made a difference the previous year.

The Park District of Highland Park received Partner Agency of the Year award or their exemplary collaboration with NSSRA’s Inclusion team.
