Volunteer

Come make a difference! Volunteering with NSSRA is an exciting opportunity to give your time meaningfully while having fun!

NSSRA seeks enthusiastic, compassionate, and motivated people eager to contribute their time and skills to enrich the lives of people with disabilities.

Volunteers provide guidance, socialization, and support to participants with disabilities in recreational programs. We welcome you to become a friend of NSSRA and to join our community!

NSSRA offers a variety of program options on a seasonal basis for volunteering, including:

  • Bright Star Theatre Program
  • Buddy Sports Programs
  • Adult Cooking Programs
  • Open Gym Programs
  • Singers Showcase Program
  • Saturday Social Clubs
  • Gator Athletics Assistance

NSSRA also offers one-time special events where volunteers can assist, such as dances, socials, 5ks, and tournaments. These opportunities are especially great for corporate and school groups.
