NSSRA Gator Athletes Earn Three Silver Medals at State Tennis Tournament

NSSRA’s Gator Athletics team had a memorable showing at the State Tennis Tournament this month. A total of three Gator athletes competed in events, including Tennis Skills and Tennis Singles, bringing home an impressive three silver medals – along with countless memorable moments. The competition, held at Evergreen Racquet Club in Bloomington – Normal saw athletes from across the region, and the Gators made their presence known with outstanding performances.

In Tennis Skills, Jordan Becker from Glenview and Graham Jack from Winnetka secured silver in their respective divisions. In Tennis Singles Brandynn Ruzicka-Just from Winnetka, earned a Silver Medal in the Men’s Division 5 category.

Coaches from each sport were thrilled with the athletes’ performances. “Thanks to all the parents and staff for your continued support—it was a fantastic season, and I’m already looking forward to the next one!” said Program Assistant Katherine Rosenberg. The coaches highlighted not only the medal wins but also the sportsmanship and improvement each athlete showed over the course of the competition.

The State Tennis Tournament was a strong showing for NSSRA’s Gator Athletics. In addition to bringing home three medals, the athletes demonstrated perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
