Northbrook – July 18, 2017 – It’s the end-of-summer party anticipated all year long by NSSRA supporters. On Wednesday, Aug. 16, nearly 400 participants, family members, supporters and staff will gather for NSSRA’s eighth annual Summer Bash, an evening of dinner, live music and most importantly, dancing.

Founded in 1970, NSSRA serves more than 1,500 area children, teens and adults with physical, developmental, emotional or other disabilities. The programs and services offered by NSSRA and its partner agencies enhance lives, foster friendships, build skills and create the kinds of experiences that make for fuller, richer lives.

Held at Techny Prairie Park in Northbrook, the evening is free and a favorite of many participants and families. Featuring live music from Final Say and a cookout-style dinner, the event serves as a relaxed, family-centered celebration before summer gives way to the bustle of fall activities and busy schedules.

Summer Bash is sponsored by NSSRA Foundation with the support of local businesses, families and community supporters, including the Rosen Family of Northbrook (presenting sponsor), Call One (band & stage sponsor), Graeter’s Ice Cream (dessert sponsor) and the Breen Family of Glenview (photography sponsor).
